On Saturday, May 20, Canada will celebrate National Fiddle Day. Fiddle music is big in Glengarry so we would like to add to the celebrations; however, we need your musical help.

Photos from The Brigadoons’ 45th Anniversary
It was a full house at the Metcalfe Center on November 13th for The Brigadoons’ 45th anniversary celebration. Dancing and laughter filled the air as we were treated to performances by Brigadoons past and present, The MacLeod Fiddlers and the MacCulloch Dancers. The afternoon was enjoyed by young and old alike, and was a testament to the impact the band has made on generations of Glengarrians.

Brigadoons Benefit Concert on the 14th
Don’t miss The Brigadoons at St. Finnan’s Cathedral in Alexandria on Friday October 14th at 7:30pm. Tickets are $20 and proceeds will benefit The Bishop’s House in St. Raphael’s.
“Fiddle Mass” at St. Anthony’s Church
Fred Leroux is having a “Fiddle Mass” at St. Anthony’s Church in Apple Hill on Sunday, Oct. 23. The music will begin at 10:00 and the mass at 10:30.
Festival of Small Halls 2016 in Maxville
The Ontario Festival of the Small Halls is coming to Maxville this year! Scottish folk group Breabach will be playing at St. James Roman Catholic Church in Maxville on September 17th. Tickets are $25.
