D'NA Concert Poster March 18, 2023

Join us at the Hall for a concert with Celtic folk duo D’NA on March 18th, 2023. The show takes place from 2:00 – 4:30pm, and also features the MacLeod Fiddlers. Admission is in the form of a free will offering.

D’NA bio:

Like a fine wine, Annika Wilson & Danielle Leonard bring a refreshing take on Celtic folk music. They fiddle their way through marches, strathspeys and reels and their stories and jokes will have everyone up on their feet, laughing and dancing the night away!

Born and raised in BC (although one might mistake her for being from Cape Breton with her catchy tunes and bodacious energy), Annika is an experienced fiddler who has brought her music all around the world, from the magical land of Disney, to all the way across the pond in Ireland! Annika’s music including her voice, as well as her smile, are all inspiring.

Originally from the East Coast and now residing on the West, Danielle has worked with a variety of bands over the years, both in the studio and on the road! She is an experienced performer and instructor in various Celtic and Canadian styles and has toured across both Canada and the United States, both as a solo and group performer. Danie loves to try new takes on old tunes, as well bring her own stories into the mix with original pieces. Danielle has a Glengarry connection in that she is a former MacLeod Fiddler under the direction of Ian MacLeod

As a duo, Annika and Danie are a force to be reckoned with! They come together to bring you the best in fiddle tunes, storytelling, and the best in entertainment!
