Finlay McDonell passed away on June 27th, 2023 at the age of 93 years.
He was active in the community and served as President of The Glengarry Highland Games Committee and Reeve of North Glengarry.
Musically, he was active in the Glengarry Old Time Fiddlers and the Glengarry Strathspey & Reel Society. Finlay was inducted in the Celtic Hall of Fame in 2015 as an individual, and in 2008 as a member of the Glengarry Strathspey and Reel Society.
