Bagpipes Presentation at Glengarry Pioneer Museum

May 11, 2016 | Events

As part of the opening weekend for the Glengarry Pioneer Museum on Sunday, May 22, Alan Jones from Montreal will be giving a presentation on the many different types of bagpipes and their history. You may know that there are many different types of bagpipes than the Scottish Great Highland Bagpipe that we’re used to around Glengarry.

Alan Jones has a collection of some 300 sets of pipes, some of which will be on display during his presentation at the Museum’s schoolhouse.
