Announcing the 2026 Inductees

Feb 20, 2026 | News

We are pleased to announce the 2026 Inductees into the Glengarry Celtic Music Hall of Fame.

This is always a challenge, as there are approximately 30 nominees and to make an unanimous choice of the following five does takes careful review.

The 2026 Inductees are:

Living
Colin MacLellan – piper and pipe band organizer
Jim McRae – performer of Celtic music

Deceased
Catherine Jean MacLeod – teacher and performer
John Allan MacMillan – fiddler

Group
Morris Family – performers

As noted the 2026 Inductees display a variety of aspects in the Celtic music field, teachers, pipe (individual and band), fiddler and true entertainers vocally and instrumentally.

We want to acknowledge all the nominees we have on file and to make sure that the nominees are aware these nominations are kept on file and reviewed each year by the selection committee.

Congratulations again to 2026 Inductees.

The Induction Dinner will be held on May 29th, 2026.
