The 5th Annual Celtic Fiddle Mass will be held at St. Anthony’s Church, Apple Hill on Sunday, October 28. Fiddle music will begin at 10 am with the Mass at 10:30 am. Breakfast will be served by the Knights of Columbus from 9 to 1 pm; all musicians will be treated to breakfast.
One of the great joys of summer is listening to live music under the stars… like the event the Glengarry Pioneer Museum on Thursday, July 26th at 7:00 PM. Music lovers are in for a real treat as AGINCOURT, a group from Montreal, explores how Celtic music evolved in Scotland, Ireland, Brittany and Quebec.
Malcolm Dewar made many contributions to Scottish music in Glengarry for over 45 years. Please join us in celebrating his legacy with an afternoon of wonderful music.
In remembrance of the First World War, the Glengarry Nor’Westers and Loyalist Museum will be celebrating the centenary of 1918 as the last year of the war with a dinner at the Lancaster Legion Branch # 544 on March 3rd, 2018.
