Induction Dinner 2014

Jun 1, 2014 | Events, News

Our Eleventh induction dinner took place on Friday, May 23rd at the Bonnie Glen. We were proud to induct Kathy Fraser Collins, John Roy MacDonell, Donaldson MacLeod, Gerald McGillis and Carol Kennedy Zadorozny.

The diversity of our Inductees is apparent again this year. Among our deceased inductees, we have a piper who performed not only as a highland dancer, but as a piper during WWI and a fiddler known throughout the area not only for his fiddling, but for his skill at performing in Gaelic. Among our active inductees are two multi-talented women who play a variety of instruments and are composers as well. Finally we have a man whose name is synonymous with anything Celtic in Glengarry; he has served as president of many Glengarry-related organizations and can be found playing his faithful fiddle wherever music can be found.

Here are a few photos from the evening. To see more, visit our Picasa album.
