Margaret Nixon, a musician, singer and dancer, was the mother of James Nixon and the grandmother of Ian MacLeod, both of whom are inductees in The Glengarry Celtic Music Hall of Fame. Congratulations to Brenna Villeneuve and Léa Maude Lajoie, both accomplished students of the MacLeod School of Fiddling, who received their awards during the Youth Fiddle Program on August 1st.
