Margaret Nixon, a musician, singer and dancer, was the mother of James Nixon and the grandmother of Ian MacLeod, both of whom are inductees in The Glengarry Celtic Music Hall of Fame. Glenda was both a Founding member and a Charter member as well as a 2023 Inductee into the Celtic Music Hall of Fame. She was a great supporter of all things Celtic, and made a lasting impact in Glengarry.
