Inductee Clara MacLeod has Passed Away

Mar 28, 2019 | News

We are sad today to hear of the passing of one of our most popular Inductees, Clara MacLeod. Clara passed away peacefully, at Hôpital Glengarry Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, March 27, 2019 at the age of 89. She was the beloved wife of 63 years to the late Roderick “RD” MacLeod and loving mother of Darrel (Judy), Cheryl McBean (Billy) and Allan (Andrea). Clara was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2005 and was thrilled when she was recently told that the band, The Clansmen, with which she had played for many years is to be inducted this year. She couldn’t wait to play again with old friends. She will be missed by her many friends far and wide. Our sympathy to her family who will feel a big void in their lives.
